eDay- January 2nd

Jasper City Schools will be implementing an eDay January 2nd. Students will be given an eDay packet Thursday December 18th. You can access Edmodo to complete the eDay assignments from now until January 20th. We understand technical difficulties may arise and have provided a paper component as an alternative to complete the assignments.

I   IF YOU HAVE NOT JOINED MY EDMODO GROUP YOU MUST ENTER A CODE TO VIEW THE ASSIGNMENTS. The group code for our class is gpscw2. If you joined my Edmodo group the last eDay you should simply log in to Edmodo and view the assignments. 

Parents, please initial  the checklist provided. Return this checklist to by January 20^th. We know that technical difficulties may arise. If they do, please make a note next to that assignment. I have attached a list of sites in town that have internet access if needed. 

Assignments:

1.

IXL. Allow your child to log in to IXL and play our IXL Math game.  CHOOSE KINDERGARTEN. Their log in information is included at the bottom of this sheet, If you are unable to have internet access for this task please refer to the eDay packet and write down 8 things you counted with your child (ex. Count crayons, balls, spoons, toy cars, etc.) If your child plays IXL they do not have to do the counting activit.

2. 

Please complete the reading homework in the eDay packet. Encourage your child to sound out each word and blend the sounds together,

Handwriting. Have student complete the journal page in the eDay folder. “ I will go to school and have fun!” and draw a picture of doing something fun at school.

Color the coloring sheet in the eDay packet. Or go to www.starfall.com and play a game that supports our kindergarten reading skills.
